Celecoxib is a cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 inhibitors, a type of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) introduced to the market as safer alternatives to aspirin or ibuprofen. Coxibs are easier on the stomach than traditional NSAIDs.
